What would you do if you were the councilman of your city?

I have a question for you, my dear follower:

What would you do if you were the councilman of your city?

First some definitions:

Definitions

Democracy: Government in which power is exercised by the people.

Power:

-To have the capacity or the opportunity to;

-Have the ability (physical, moral or intellectual) to exert influence;

-To be morally authorized to;

People:

- Set of individuals from a region, city, village or village.

Ok, exercise for the mind.

Right, analyze each of these definitions and now think again:

What is democracy?

Is it the people governing themselves? Would it be the population representing their own interests? Would it be a government where we are represented and happy by our choice and the choice of others?

If you partially agree, think about it: does your councilman represent you? That person you or other people voted for? There's someone in your city council who you don't understand the reason why they're there. Why you or someone else chose them to be there, even if in your perception of reality shows you that they shouldn't be, but think again:

What is democracy for you?

If you identify people to whom you do not represent the population of your city, before waiting for someone to govern for all, as in a democracy in fact and no longer governing for the minority and leaving a part of the population that has precarious housing, food, education, health and finances very much given up.

In times of crisis I believe that almost all of us (except the elite) are being affected by a combo of these items above. At least I have suffered all of them throughout my life. You can't compare realities, each one of us has our own reality, think: Have any of these precariousness affected you throughout your life?

If we live in a democracy, it is strange that our rulers do not exercise the power to govern our people. Why don't the councilmen of your city represent your voters and your population? And if you had the opportunity to have a job in your city council, what would you do to exercise democratic government? Where your job is to give yourself to ensure better opportunities for all, always seeking to reduce inequality, is equality: of rights, freedoms and opportunities.

And in this game of questions I will end up my long text with his first sentences:

A question for you, my dear follower:

What would you do if you were the councilman of your city?
